12A. KM Presented a brief overview of  the Building CommitteeÕs work since our first meeting on March 20th with emphasis on the Sanctuary and considerations pertaining to the relocation of the Blessed Sacrament Altar (BSA) and the Ambo. Our objective at this meeting is to determine possible new locations for the (BSA) and the Ambo utilizing the mock ups that will allow a visual and help us to better understand and eventually confirm the proposed new locations.

12B. The Blessed Sacrament Altar mock up was placed behind the main Altar and once again this location felt natural to all in attendance with the only consideration to possibly adjust the height of the Tabernacle.

12C. The Ambo mock up was viewed in various locations and a lengthy conversation ensued resulting in our selection of three possible new locations. The first and what is currently viewed as the most cost effective location is in front of the presiders chair with or without a step up (location #1 on the attached photo). The second and third locations are as illustrated on the attached photo marked location #2 and #3, both requiring a marble extension of our main Altar area.

12D. To help us determine which if any of these three locations are right for us, we will prepare scaled renderings and study alternative designs of a new Ambo and re-group when this work has been completed.

12E. Rich McCartney of Lighting Solutions in Media submitted a detailed lighting scheme and reviewed their recommended lighting solution to accommodate our new ceiling design while addressing our concern and objective to ensure the new lighting will enhance our Liturgies and provide even lighting throughout the church interior, Sacristy, vestibule, stairwells and provide accent lighting to our windows, statues and stations of the cross.

Samples were set up and viewed and to allow us to finalize the proposed scheme, Rich will make up a light grid that will be elevated on a stand to simulate the proposed lighting and at a date to be determined, we will view this simulation in our Church.

Rich will also complete the bill of material and reconfirm total wattage as compared to our existing wattage.

Tom will be coordinating this effort.

12F. Tom presented samples of the selected acoustic panel and wood veneer beam designs.
