Worship Committee
| 1. | Description of Ministry |
| The Worship Committee with the guidance of the Parish Clergy plan, organize, prepare and evaluate liturgical celebrations for the seasons and events throughout the liturgical year. The goal of the committee is to enhance the public worship by giving greater glory to God through the sanctification of all people. They are responsible for the inside environment in our church. | |
| 2. | Frequency/Schedule of Meetings/Activities |
| The Worship Committee meets monthly and is comprised of several subcommittees; such as: Children's Liturgy, Forty Hours, Reconciliation Services, Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter which meet periodically throughout the year and the Petitions Committee which meets monthly. | |
| 3. | Where do I perform service? |
| The Worship Committee meets in the Stevenson Center | |
| 4. | Who are served? |
| All those who gather to worship at St. John's including visitors and our Parish Cluster are served. | |
| 5. | Preparation |
| A Committee Member should have an interest in deepening the quality of worship at St. John's and an understanding of liturgy. | |
