SMALL FAITH SHARING GROUPS
| 1. | Description of Ministry |
| Small Faith Sharing Groups meet to give the 6 to 10 members in each group an opportunity to experience community, scripture reflection, prayer and sharing about living one’s faith in a small, friendly, supportive group. | |
| 2. | Frequency/Schedule of Meetings/Activities |
| Some small faith-sharing groups meet weekly for six weeks in the fall and six weeks during Lent. Others meet weekly, or periodically, throughout the year. | |
| 3. | Where do I perform service? |
| Members of small faith-sharing groups meet in each others’ homes each week. They may choose to reach out to other individuals, families, organizations who need their help. Each group decides on their own particular service. Weekly reflections suggest and encourage specific action. | |
| 4. | Who are served? |
| The group members regularly serve each other as they support, encourage and pray for each other on their faith journeys. As noted in #3, groups together reach out to help a variety of individuals and organizations. | |
| 5. | Preparation |
| Booklets are supplied to small faith sharing group members, and many participants choose to read over the scripture selection and commentary for that week before they go to their gathering. | |
