Home and School Association

 

1. Description of Ministry
  The home and school association acts as a link between the parent body and St. John's school. It helps to organize fund-raisers, Catholic schools week, teacher appreciation events, as well as many other "special events" at school. It gives the parents a way to organize and support the school and faculty.
2. Frequency/Schedule of Meetings/Activities
  The home and school association meets formally six to seven times per year. However, there are many events throughout the school year that the board attends and anyone interested in volunteering can help at one or more of the events.
3. Where do I perform service?
  Most of the association's services are performed at the school.
4. Who are served?
  The children, and often the faculty are served by the home and school association.
5. Preparation
  No special preparation.
