Scouting

 

1. Description of Ministry
  Give boys in grades five and up an opportunity to have fun, make new friends, and become an active member in the community through food drives and various service projects. Scouts learn about nature by hiking, canoeing, and camping. Boy Scouts build responsibility and helps boys set goals for their lives, and the opportunity to earn the Eagle Scout rank.
2. Frequency/Schedule of Meetings/Activities
  Boy Scouts meet weekly on Tuesday evenings, and we participate in at least one outdoor activity per month.
3. Where do I perform service?
  Most meetings are on the Parish grounds in the Lower Church Hall or the Parish House Lounge.
4. Who are served?
  Scouting serves many of those in need, including participating in the Aid for Friends and an annual canned food drive for the Bernadine Center in Chester.
