St. Martha's Altar Society
| 1. | Description of Ministry | |||
| The ministry will provide total care of the altar. If you choose to work at home, your responsibility will be washing and ironing altar linens. This will include purificators (small cloths used to wipe the chalices) and hand towels. You will share this job with one other person usually once per month. Linens are picked up in the sacristy, either Saturday after the 5PM mass or Sunday after the 11:30 mass. The laundered linens are to be returned to the sacristy by the end of the week. If you should choose to work on keeping the vessels, candles, marble and wood polished and shining, please call to arrange a time that meets your schedule. |
